Default Help with Distributor Vacuum Advance Control

Mine isn't holding any vacuum and needs replaced.
I saw a post by Lars saying this:
If you're running a little bit of a cam, order part number VC1810.

But I don't think they make it anymore.
Any suggestions on which one to purchase?
HEI with a big cam with 7-8Hg and can get up to 10Hg messing with timing.

I prefer Summit or oriellys numbers if they have them.

Thanks

Unobtanium......looks like they have been out of production since 2009.......even any part number that crosses....the GM# is 88924985. All you can do is try the VC1809 or get an adjustable one.......the Accel unit has the ability to do what you want....

No, the VC-1810 will not help you. That part is a '74 and older style vacuum advance. It does not work with an HEI.

Try finding a VC-1703 for 10 degrees OR a VC-1862 (marked AR31) for 16 degrees. These are HEI compatible.

One more piece of advice - Check whichever one you end up with a MightyVac to make sure it has the proper specs. I’ve been hearing stories of people buying them and they have been way off.

Did someone say MityVac and Accel 31035?

Definitely test. 7-8 inhg looks to be the minimum all-in vacuum for one of these. If yours is on the ragged edge, you may get some hunting.
