Default Broke something during engine install, what is it?

Broke off the firewall right behind the distributor. Quick fix or did I just screw myself?

That is one of the plugs to help hold the carpet in place.

I think you'll survive this.

Not a big deal , its the end of one of the plugs that's there to hold up the insulation piece or carpet end under the dash . There will be the "big end " probably still stuck in the hole or fallen down where your feet go . They just go hard and brittle with age and snap off like yours did !

They can be tedious to get a new one in , the "tool" they try to sell you is the same as an old screwdriver with the flat cut off ,so you just insert the rod into the hole so it pushes from the pointy end .
