Default Looking for new tires

I’m getting a set of 17x8 AR Torq Thrust II wheels. Suspension is all stock, and don’t want to modify anything or deal with rubbing. So I’m planning on going with 235/55R17.

Tire rack has 20 options in that size even after narrowing it down to ultra high performance.

Anyone running any of these tires that can offer some input?

I'm running 255/50/17. No modifications whatsoever. As for rubbing, slightly AT FULL LOCK. There for, I never turn full lock.

The pictures of your car on another thread is what sold me on the 17” TT II wheels.

I was thinking about 255/50R17, but have you seen the selection? Also, while you don’t have any issue, I saw a lot of talk on other threads about trimming the front fender. So I was looking for the safe/easy route.

What tires are you running?

Another good question would be to ask what backset he has on his wheels...

Good point, was assuming he was running the standard 4” BS for these wheels….FWIW I would love to run the 255/50R17 Nitto tires.

4.07. American Racing VN2157861 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...57861#overview
I also used hub centric rings as the TT II are lug centric.
