Default Bottom Altenator Bolt Help

Hello there I was changing out my crusty altenator today on my 1980. I feel a little silly but cant get the bottom bolt out. It came out about an inch and just spins will not come out any further, I can feel the threaded stud on the back just turning there is no nut holding anything on. If any one has any advise please shoot it at me I would be greatfull. Thank you Brian

Can you apply pressure on the threaded end with a large flat blade screwdriver?

Try removing the alternator and bracket that attaches to the head together. Once you have them both out it will be easier to get that bolt out on the bench.

Thanks for your help it worked I subbed the screwdriver for a allen wrench. If you lived in my city I would buy you a cold one! Thanks again Brian
