Default Build sheet

Research has told me that the build sheet for a 71 could be on top of the fuel tank, behind the tach housing or in the dash.. I guess to start, is it possible to look in the fuel tank without taking it apart?

Yes, you can peel the rubber filler neck down and use a flashlight to look on top of the tank. A borescope accessory for your phone may come in handy which affords the opportunity to go up from the bottom and over the top. Be aware that it was printed on low-quality NCR paper that has likely deteriorated significantly. If it is there, do not attempt to pull it out through the filler neck – dropping the tank is the only way and even then it will be extremely fragile.

Here is mine. Just going to leave it there. One day, I will drop the tank.

Thanks

Top of the fuel Tank, right side on my '72, might be able to see it through the fuel filler boot.
