Default 350 sbc spots

I tore apart my 350, and when I got to the bones I noticed this inside a few of the cylindars. It looks like a spot that might have heated up? I have no idea though. What is it, and I was planning to make this my 383 stroker, is it still good?

Yes it looks like it got hot at one time.
Yes it's still good. A hone will clean that right up. Your most likely looking at a bore and hone anyway building a 383.
