What is this?

Re-assembling my 75 vert.

What is the item circled in red on picture of the dash assembly. Whatever it is, I do not have that.

That is a vent tube , from the heater box , on a non AC car .

Ok. Yep, mine is non-AC.

Installing Vintage Air system, so I will be making a different configuration.

I bet you will find it when you take the center gauges out. Mine was stuck back there when I first bought my car.

I wish. Likely not since the car was in the condition pictured when I got it. I will dig through some boxes again and see if I got it somewhere.

You don't really need it for aftermarket a/c

Well I’ll be &$@@. I have seen that thing in my pile of parts a dozen times!! Now I know where it goes!! Thank you.
Even if I don’t need it with the Vintage air, at least I know what it does.
