This year for racing I’m trying out 1.6 rockers and upping the NOS from 125 to 175 shot.
Might be buying myself into more project time if something lets go
I’m new to forum and don’t know if I’m in the right place, but here goes. I’m replacing my 1970 crank window with power ones. When I mounted the new “replacement power window regulators” the holes didn’t line up to existing holes. Do I need to drill new holes in regulator to make fit or send back for another part. Hole is about a quarter hole off
try two at the same time ! lol , just did a engine rebuild with a little upgrading and a 2300 stall converter on my white L82 .... My black L82 received a 2300-ish stall torque converter and close ratio gear set for the 700R4 , it never ends

Hi DrBubba, first of all, welcome!! You're in the right forum, but not the right sub-forum. You should post this in the 'Tech/Performance' sub-forum and you'll get lots of help. I suggest you include some pics and as much detail as you can in your new thread there. But my initial answer is that no, you shouldn't need to drill new holes in anything........... Best, Paul

Hi Eric, you made me laugh with your black and white L82 story. Some years back, my wife was dd a '75 Hurst/Olds, white with a 455. I bought another one - this one black with a 455 (they made them in black or white). I told her she should take mine to an evening church meeting for the women in our congregation. When she got back I asked her what she thought. She said "It's nice, but mine's faster". Motor and trans were out of the black one that weekend..........................we still laugh about that. Best, Paul

I thought mine was close to being non-needy but last year, while trying to get my 1972 442 ready to paint, the power steering started leaking. At one point, I had the couple other leaks fixed but now the PS starts up. Well, it's just sitting there with a drip pan under it and if I ever get the homemade spray booth built, I'll change spots of the two cars so I can get the Vette up on the two post to see what the problem is. I hope it's just a loose fitting but who knows. But then, during this time, I'll be painting, buffing and reassembling the 442.

Reason: Correction
I often think what my 69 will look like when its finished from a complete frame off restomod restoration. I have the restoration creep affect (keep adding other mods along the way). After it is done (relative phrase), I plan to start on my 71. I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever get to the 71.
