I don't think there's any real issues with that. Maybe have a look here

I have Doug's D350 headers on my 82 and they clear everything easily. In fact I also have angle plug heads like your ZZ4 and it's cake to replace the plugs. The Doug's D350's even have better ground clearance than the stock Y-pipe. However the exhaust pipe that connects to the reducer has to be angled down slightly to clear the foot stills.

I have a ZZ4 in my 68 and had no problems fitting a set of Hedman headers. They were for use with the 69 factory sidepipes.

The ZZ4 has "D" port exhaust openings. Headers designed for the original SBs will have oval ports....square ports rounded in the corners. The mismatch is not a problem. It's very slight. I got a flange gasket and a dremel with a grinder bit and modified my header flange to closely approximate the ZZ4 D ports. The PhD intake manifold designer of Edelbrock told me exhaust flow is not hampered significantly by slightly mismatched exhaust ports because the exhaust gases are so energetic. He quickly said that port matching was important for the intakes. Guy had a PhD from California Institute of Technology. I was impressed. A PhD from Cal Tech is a real accomplishment.

Hi, how close do the Doug’s D350 clear the transmission pan around the shifter linkage, I just purchased a set of Hedmans #68306 and it does clear the pan but awfully close? I have a new BluePrint 383 with 1/2” raised port heads haven’t gotten to the passenger side yet. Anyone please feel free to chime in.
