Replacement bumperettes for A 69 Corvette

Replacement bumperettes for A 69 Corvette
Anyone with experience with aftermarket/ replacement bumperettes (chrome pieces on each side of the front license plate)? Any particular brand fit like the originals? My car is not all original, so I'm good with replacement parts.

Most aftermarket is manufactured in a certain country on the west side of the Pacific. Fit and quality are always a crapshoot but fitting perfect originals on a car is not a cakewalk either, particularly if yours has been damaged in a front end collision. Make sure you can return them and then take a shot.

Look around at the various Corvette parts vendors. I think this version is sold in an imported version and a GM licensee version. Might be mistaken. BTW, buying an original used bumperette can be done, but getting it replaced is really expensive now.

Paragon had the original GM bumper and bumperette dies. They are now part of Corvette Central. They should be USA made. Make sure that you get 68-69 bumperettes. The 70-72 versions are very different. Lou.
