Does anyone recognize this The car is in a state of disassembly with many NOS parts in boxes.
1969 427 car? The paint is clearly very unique. Would love to hear some history as I bought it from an uninformed estate.
I can only assume it belongs to this car. It has no power brakes, no power steering, no AC, roll up windows. I’m getting under to ID the 4-speed.

I wanted to attached a picture of it. But I have everything boxed in the shop and haven’t been able to find it without going through everything. But it is marked as 435HP. I assume an engine code can confirm.

Reason: More info
Sorry about my confusing post. And I have no idea whose pictures were hijacked with my console panel picture, but he has a good looking car. I’m new to this forum and trying to figure it out as I go. I hope someone recognizes this crazy 1970’s paint job on my new project
I really don’t know for sure what it is. I’ll research the numbers as I find them and report what I find. I assume the shifter plate is original to the car. And it looks fairly unmolested under the hood.
It would be amazing for someone to recognize that crazy paint job and ID the car. If there are any ideas on how to get the pictures out there, I’d appreciate them.

If you purchased from an estate. Owner is long gone. Perhaps some old friends might recognise it. But what are the odds those old friends are on this forum.
The crazy paint was actually pretty common back in the 70's. So it may be difficult to get more information, but you never know until you try.
The good news is that will sand off and can be repainted.
The much more interesting part is, what engine came in this car? Numbers off the block will be interesting.
The heads, not so much.

Either it's the wrong carb & manifold or the wrong console / sticker.
A 400 & 435 hp car should have a tri - power set up aka Sixpack or 3 duces
A 390 car should have a single carb.

It’s been molested under the hood, but maybe not in a bad way. The engine sticker on your console looks weathered enough to be real. The engine, if the original was a 435 horse, has the three deuces setup, not the single four barrel like is there now. Also, it has headers. What else, only a deep dig will tell you. Unless the owner changed out the tach face, another easy way to tell if it was one of the high performance 427s is the redline of the tach. How about a picture of that? Most guys who swapped engines back in the day didn’t bother to dig into the dash and swap out the tach face. And, don’t forget, that may be an absolute jewel of an engine!
Appreciate the feedback. I haven’t been around corvettes since I restored a 64 roadster 30 years ago. Since then it’s been Cuda, Chevelle, GTO…. Really looking forward to this one!
Redline 6500. See picture.
