I just finished installing a new set of FO in the rear, now about to tackle the front.
Anything I should know, do, not do, etc.??
My plan is to pull out the front harness, take all the old tape off, remove the FO, place the new FO, tape it up, and lay it back in place.
After doing the rear wiring, it seems like a good idea to leave the "tails" taped up in the same configuration and length, before taping up the entire harness.
Also make sure when routing under the dash on the drivers side make sure to stay away from the courtesy light. It can get hot enough to melt thru the harness. Don't ask me how I know this.
How old is your wire front wire harness ? If its original I would replace it . You can get the wire harness complete with fiber optics .You don`t want to do that job again .
