Default Help Identifying a Corvette body kit

I ran across a local guy with an interesting front end. The headlights were flush and moved down to the grill. There were full integrated headlight brackets below the nose too. I looked in the fender well and there was an Ecklers tag, but it had glass over it and I couldn't read anything off of it. The closest thing I can find online is a Can Am from Greenwood, but it's not a widebody and also has 69 gills.

I don't remember Eckler's making a nose with the headlight doors glassed in and the headlights moved to the grill area. but it's possible. They made a lot a lot of different custom pieces over the years, some were popular and some didn't go over well at all.

Closing the headlights in and moving them to the grill area was a somewhat popular custom trick in the 70's. I think it was 65 Chrysler Imperial headlight assemblies that fit right in the grill opening, and were often used for this conversion. Have you looked under the nose to confirm it was molded without the headlight openings, and not glassed in by a previous owner?

I'm not sure about being glassed in, from what I remember it looked like an entire assembly. There was definitely an Ecklers tag on the inner fender though, maybe the fenders were repaired and that's what it's from, looked like hand laid glass.

I'm realizing this pic is a little too vague, so I'm going to grab a few more at the end of the week and hopefully she'd some light on it.....pun intended
