Unknown bracket

Default Unknown bracket
I found this bracket in my 81 where the jack gets stored. Bracket states - 25 SPACE TO BELT. Anyone know where this bracket goes?

Yes I do. That goes on the alternator bracket. The upper curved bracket on your alternator, look about a 1/3 of the way down from the alternator, there should be a threaded hole. Mounts there. 1/4 distance from the belt as it says.

It acts as a shield it hold the belt on the pulley..look in the AIM, you should find it
