What I've learned is.
Facebook does absolutely nothing to confirm if any seller is real or not on their site.
Almost every seller on Facebook is a SCAM.
even the local market places are full of rip off artists and scammers.
Just not a safe place to shop.

I did pass on the posting but just so everyone knows what this was all about. I am in the process of swapping an LS6 into my '68 and I am pulling my basically brand new 383 Stroker in order to do it. My 383 stroker has the Hooker header and side pipes and I love them but they wont fit the LS6. I was on Ebay and their was a posting for the exhaust I am looking for. I was talking to the guy on Ebay and it seemed legit but when I did a search on google this same set popped up on Facebook. I asked the guy on Ebay if he had them posted on Marketplace as well and he said yes. Anyway, I reached out to the Marketplace listing and it was suddenly very odd. They didnt seem to know much about the exhaust and were very quick to accept my offer of $500 less than they were asking as long as " I pay immediately." I asked about how they accept payment and every option they gave me did not give any buyer protection....not that any really do but at least Paypal seems to try....which they did not offer. I then asked for some close up picture of certain areas of the exhaust and they just kept asking me if I was ready to pay.

Unless proven different, "Corvette Auto Parts Marketplace" is a huge SCAM
