I'm looking to sell my 1978 Siver Anniversary car. Any ideas how to best get this accomplished?

Clean it up. Take hundreds of photos detailing EVERYTHING, warts and all (including the typical rust areas, put it on a lift, take off kick panels, etc).

Then post it for sale on Bring a Trailer, with or without a reserve price.

And if you haven't already, buy the dealer invoice from GM for $50-. It can help confirm the original options, for buyers that care about such things.

OK, I am gettin extremely varied values for the car. The app, "corvette DNA", says it is worth $24,000. But a lot of people with not intention of buying tell that is over priced. It's a "78. Silver Anniversarey, all original (matching), L-82, 4 speed manual. with approx 225 horsepower....
I paid $17,000, so I don't want to take less than that.

I believe Hagerty has most honest real life priceing guide. But there are soo, so, so many variables to influence a price. You need to do your homework well!
I screen shot this from the latest Hagerty page. I believe you could get $17k if your patient,, all depending on condition.
.

Not everyone will agree with these values.

An auction will tell you the price.

Take my advice (above), and set a reserve of $17K. It will sell, or not. And then you'll know what it's worth.

GLWS!

As 'bikespace' mentions, BaT is your first choice. Some caveats:

They may not want your car
If they do, everything will be qualified in the listing so any claims about what is and isn't on the car are not their's
Take good pictures including any known flaws. If you're not much of a photographer, find a friend who is. They do offer a service but it costs
Be honest about your car and if you can post videos after it's been 'up' for a while. Keep some momentum as "the seller"
If you set a reserve, BaT will push back as much as they can on the value because they want your car to sell. That's where they make their money
No reserve? It's a crap shoot. If you are lucky to get two or more bidders who really want your car, they will push the price .... otherwise somebody gets a steal
I advise you to log on and see what goes on in the last hour or so of similar cars.
