Differential crossmember bushing replacements
Replacement bushings are a bit different. The ID of the pocket which go over the sombreros is different. Originals are approximately 2.040 inches. Replacements are 2.150 inches. The replacements do not simply slip over the sombreros, seems there is still some compression.
Sombreros are about 2.30 inches diameter. Gives me 0.150 compression with replacement bushings, 0.260 for originals.
What experience have people had with the replacement bushings? I’d imagine they slip on easier. Any negative effects? Originals seemed absurdly tight.
