These two have not had the pleasure yet of a corvette ride, but they will be my co-pilots this summer

Our old '78 hasn't been out much in recent months, but we have recently undertaken a couple of interesting events. The first was a gathering at the Bugatti Circuit at Le Mans, organised by the ACO for it's members. As well as a bit of a display, we were able to complete a lap of the circuit whoch although we have done it many times before, is always fun! A couple of photos from the day:

The following weekend we were out with the the Corvette Club France for their Spring long weekend, to the Burgundy region of France and Chablis in particular. As well as the 31 other cars on the event, we were joined by a good friend who drove his '64 down from Shropshire in England. A good time was had by all, with some superb driving roads, excellent food and of course, great wine! Here's a couple of photos:

I have a bunch of great photos of when I bought my C5Z in Iowa and drove it back to NV but I'm thinking you all want to see C3 photos, not C5?

I have two C3's but haven't taken them on any road trips.

I've been doing "road trips" for 54 years in the Corvette, still enjoyable.

Yep.... We went out on a day trip with another couple visiting from out of town last week but didn't remember to take any pics. My wife and i took them out in our C3 and C5 for a drive to get dinner and drinks,, about 60 minutes drive out. For the trip home we gave them the keys to the C5 and they loved the experience driveing home in the vette. Thats what they're for,, to enjoy and share the fun together. Keep it up guys and gals,, and keep sharing. And I'll try to take more pics also....👍

Not the best pic. This one is inside my 82 Collector Edition a few months before I sold it. Cruising across Lake Pontchartrain at 5am on the way in to New Orleans.

It was funny, I was in line with all these late model Vettes and I was the one people were stopping next to and getting the honks and thumbs up.

Great photos! Ahh yes, rain on the car - all too familiar! No wonder you got all the attention, good looking car! 👍 (A bit the same here, where C3s are hugely popular. Nicer to "bask" a little among all the new stuff!😄
