Way newer than that, late 70s maybe early 80s
Looks like they started looking like that around 76-77

Yours would have the AM/FM slider at the top and only show the numbers for one or the other. Delco would be in a script font and not say GM

Thank you.

Know this is not to my 68 but trying to determine year.

I won’t be needing it either way as I am having a new radio installed.

GM redesigned the dash in 77 to accept the standard shape and size GM corporate radio. Prior to 77 the Corvette radio was unique to the Corvette and the Corvette dash would not accept any other GM radio.

That type radio was used in Corvettes from 77-82 and was also used in other GM cars from the early/mid 70's till the early 80's. If the ***** on that radio are original to it then it didn't come out of a Corvette. 77-80 ***** look nothing like those and while they are similar to 81-82 *****, the 81-82 ***** are black with just the outer edge of the face of the **** silver, and 81-82 are the spacers behind the ***** are black also.
