Looks like an edlebrock crate engine? Or is that just the intake manifold? Anyone have any info on what it might be? Pics are from a listing on facebook.

You need the engine code from in front of passenger head on block pad. The one picture gives no clue.
For a visual aid it’s right about there
The numbers on the block need to match the VIN of the car.
The block itself is the 1977 correct Corporate Blue, which means it’s likely to be the original engine. Many people that swap engines on later C3s paint them either Chevy Orange or leave them in the black color they come as. Again, you have to check the VIN to be sure.
It appears to have a Edelbrock carb and top end “dress up” kit, which includes a chrome air cleaner, valve covers, and timing cover. Some people like them. Personally I don’t enjoy having my engine bay be a billboard for a company that could basically be considered a monopoly.
