Default Weather Seals

I know there must be 100's of threads about this but, here goes. I've replaced all the weather seals but, I'm really struggling with the door seals. The ones I removed were original and were very soft foam rubber type, the newly installed ones are a harder rubber type. Now, ignorer for the door to shut I had to trim some of the door seal. The question is, does anyone manufacture door seals of the same material that the OEM seals were?

Thanks,

Yea,different material now days, and better,.I recently did my 1972 GTO,and the same issue door didn’t shut,it was a pretty warm day mid 80’s,so took the other side and let it sit in the sun a few hours, let it soften up and put on door, slammed door shut, and let it sit a few days to mold it self, opened door open, and closed with no more issues, and it was good and tight fit. So,took other side back off and did the same thing.I suppose you could put them on,and use a heat gun to soften them, but that is the big thing with new one, different material and even sometimes thicker than originals. Good luck
