Interior noise insulation
I took off the rear interior trim pieces because there was a rattle when driving the car.
I checked and it came from the rear window trim piece (it stopped when I held my finger against it).
I insulated the rear window trim using acoustic foam.
I thought of using the foam on the rest of the trim pieces to.
Is it a waste of time and material? Or should I go with the plan?
I "derattled" the interior first before installing soundproof/insulation.
Win/Win situation. A couple pics.....

the more sound insulation the better. Those interior sail panels had insulation glued to the inside of them from the factory. Thick fuzzy stuff.

Upper photo is inside of sail panel with what is left of the factory insulation. I had a guest mouse who thought my insulation was better used to make a nice nest.
Lower photo is how I replaced it with a polyfill insulation.
I have also added sound insulation everywhere as Doorgunner has shown, even in the storage compartments. Really makes a difference.
