Default Happy Anniversary

Well, I searched for a thread to add to, but none I could find.
C-F just notified me that I joined 22 years ago !!!
Happy Anniversary to me .

Still have my same crappy C3 Corvette, still under resto ... but I drive it around the block now and then.
Sidepipes on ... need to mount the original '69 covers ... and maybe some fender flares ??

Some fiberglass trimming needed here

Decent pipes for $500

Original '69 covers, unmolested OOOps ... Blue Moon on the back deck

'69 covers, meet 2000 wheels

The gaps on your doors and T-tops look good in these pics. Hood too in the last pic. What color you going with?

Maybe we should start a thread with who has the LONGEST project going. I got mine in 2012. SO far I have finally finished the interior ( last month), the drivetrain and starting on the body. In 2021 my wife got tired of waiting and FORCED me to buy a 2012 C6, just so we had a vette we could ride in! In spite of everything, my restoration journey is good therapy.

And I like the patina on your ride.

Thanks, Mike.

Considering I glued and rivetted the body together, I'll take that compliment.
Doors and nose are '75 ... rear clip and birdcage are '70.
Color: I was originally going with black and ghost flames.
Now, I'm siding more toward flat or iced black. Maybe medium metallic blue.

No worries ... not giving up until she has a new fuel injected engine and a valid inspection sticker

I'm with ya ... looking for a C8 that is broken in and affordable.
With all the love poured into my C3 ... it will always be my project.
