I would like to hear what the thoughts of this very informed and non-bias crowd has to say about a 1969 L68 that I am looking at for possible purchase.
I know buying any corvette is a personal thing but I would welcome any opinions, caveats and advise.
Thanks in advance.

Reason: still learning
Agreed that pics and description of the target car would be good to see.
One item that is constantly mentioned here, if you are not fimiliar with Vettes is the condition of the bird cage. Folks here have stated its better to have a pristine bird cage than a pristine engine.
Then post pics of the car...everytihg you can from the body on all four sides, the engine compartment from both sides and front and rear, and everything you can from underneath. If you can get pics around the windshield, the inside door jambs at the hinges and if you can the body mount behind the kick panels where your feet are when you are sitting. These are the major rust areas as well as the frame in front of the rear wheels on the kick up...
Welcome to the forum. We need to first know what your level of knowledge is about C3s . There are, literally, multiple hundreds of factors to consider when buying what is a 55 year old antique.
If you don’t have any idea of what a birdcage is, then you need to start your education there.
When you say you are looking at it do you mean you are in their garage looking at it? Or are you looking at internet pictures? Be sure someone with C3 knowledge is looking at it in person. Don't buy an internet car without putting eyes on it.
Thanks to all that responded considering I did not ask for specifics.
I am still working on info from the seller but I am beginning to get annoyed by the lack of things I have been asking for which is making me believe that something is not right.
