C3 Heater control vacuum hoses
First off thank you for all the knowledge and expertise that you guys share on this forum. I recently purchased a 1975 Convertible Stingray from his original owner. The car was overall well cared for, but the interior needed to be cleaned and updated. This is my first project and don't have much experience with restoring cars. One thing to the next, ended up to get the whole interior down. Now in the process of putting it back together. When I took the center console out saw a loose vacuum hose just sitting under the console and not connected to anything (on both ends). My car does not have AC. The heater vacuum housing has 9 ports (5 are already capped). Can't figure out where this loose hose is supposed to go. Please advise if the hose was left there by a mistake (perhaps previous repairs) or does it need to be connected (then to where).
Appreciate your time and guidance.
Regards,
