Here you are-when at idle the voltage at 11.80 - 11.98 with lights, radio, wipers and AC on is LESS adequate---- it is actually downright shitty. At idle your alternator is not adequately charging and the battery is slowly getting drained down.
I recommend not ******* around and just going to a 140 amp CS-144.
Your profile is not filled out but methinks from your avatar that your car is a 1982? Your wiring should be adequate. Lotsa posts on here on how to convert....if you cannot find just ask.
I am in the process of converting my CS-144 to a DR44G....but I have not finished .... but if you wanna try...here is that post I have NOT made much progress on just because...... https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...xperiment.html

Yes it’s an 82
I charged the battery, now I have
12.75 off
14.42 idle
14.50 at 1500 rpm
12.33 under load
the light is still on.
