Reproductions are roughly $3000 from any of the usual suspects. Top Flight has some used original ones with the canvas included for about $7000. I'd say your friend's original should be worth more to most buyers than a reproduction that's likely from offshore. But he won't have the wide exposure of a company like Top Flight to get into the $7000 range.
