Default Sharkbar

My 73 came with a Sharkbar installed with the racing belts and fire extinguisher mount. Is this something that anyone would be interested in? Considering selling it. What would be a good asking price? It's red in color.

Have you unbolted it and felt the difference in driving? I have the hoop version on my 72 convertible and found it stiffened up the ride a fair bit (excellent frame, no rust issues etc). I would think at least $4-500 for everything would be a fair price considering a new bar alone is $850 bare steel.

I didn't notice much difference in ride. The car needed serious work to the rear suspension shortly after I got it. I guess I should post pictures of all the stuff in the for sale section, but thanks for the input so far.

@gdh Where are you finding Sharkbars available for a '73? Vetteworks doesn't appear to make the Series 3 (for 68-73 coupes and 68-75 convertibles) any longer. I ask as I'd like to get one for a '72 coupe. Thanks

It is a Vette works series 3. I have the install instructions and I do believe it has the 71 - 73 models listed. I will verify to be sure. I'm going through all the stuff now and will be getting ready to post shortly. I did see they no longer offer the series 3 bar. The bar I have has SRP belts and submarine harnesses, Fire extinguisher mount, and install instructions.
