Ground straps on my ratty ‘70

Default Ground straps on my ratty ‘70

In the pictures below there is a pair of ground straps on either side of the crossmember. (Not sure what the correct term is for that brace). One n the passenger side has been chewed up, so no idea of length. Driver side strap appears to be intact, but I don’t see where it would attach. BH

That "U" shaped bracket that is bolted under the trans mount is the center exhaust hanger. The stock exhaust got two exhaust clamps that went over the bracket and around the pipes and the ground straps attached to one nut on each exhaust u-clamp. The straps on the exhaust clamps were both the same length. They are there to reduce static coming through the radio only.

Below is a link to the center hanger to give you an idea of what it looks like when it's not bolted to the trans mount.
