Anybody use this rocker panel repair kit from ZIP??
Does this repair actually fit on a C3?
Do the nuts & inner portion of the inserts fit in the rocker U-channel without hitting the frame rail?
I don't want to drill out my old mounts (some damaged) and install these only to find out later doing the body drop that there is interference with the chassis...
I used a riv nut on most holes and a nut and washer on the ones you can get to in the front and rear wheel wells. I had to put a small washer behind the insert on the gun to get it into the small recess of the rocker panel mounting hole.
Some 10-24 by 3/4” stainless screws and a dab of anti sieze, and it was good to go
I've used them and there was no clearance issue on my 78
Thanks for the reply. It's good to know that I shouldn't run into problems with them later on.

Thanks for that method. I've never used a rivnut, but will keep it in mind if I have any issues with Zip's kit that I already have...
