I just run headlight relays and sealed halogen beam headlights. Probably not as bright as LED's but I'm rarely out after dark.
That said, Lots of people on this forum have changed over to LED headlights. Most are very happy with them. Like anything. If you want to change over but you wish to do it on the cheap, it's not as likely to turn out well.
There have been a few threads on here over the last couple years as to what works well. Try doing a google search. The forum search feature doesn't work well at all. Just put into Google, C3 Corvette................., and an awful lot of responses will bring you right here!
I replaced my headlights with glass lenses and Sealight LED bulbs all for less than $100. I don't drive at night often, but these are a major improvement! There are some upgrade kits that are a lot more, but I'm happy with what I have.
I went with the Dappers. They had a neat feature that I liked. They sell you wiring so all 4 of your headlights come on as low beams. Hit your switch and all 4 come on as high beams
I went with Dapper also and couldn't be more happier. I can see the road so much better when I drive at night. I. Also bought all off my exterior LEDs from Dapper. I spent close to 1k in lighting. Yes it's pricey.
I went Dapper also, I enjoy driving at night and was never as confident with the halogens. The lighting, quality, and ease of install made the price worth it to me. I got them a little cheaper during the Black Friday sale they do every year.

Those Holleys are soooooo expensive.. My Buddy John went with Octanes 2 years ago and I have been wanting to get them after seeing them on his car. I have H1 and H4 lenses with halogen bulbs and they arent even close even though they are probably 80/100 watt bulbs in there. They are only worth using on high beam. I had to add an LED light bar under the bumper for twilight which is the worst for me. We have shows right into October and they usually end around 7 which is dusk now in Sept. so I am driving home right during or after sunset and around here its rolling hills and tree lined roads so its on and off light and dark pretty dramatically. The new LED lights will probably make a dramatic difference while my halogen lights are obliterated by oncoming headlights which makes it even worse.
Ive ordered the Octane lights and they are low only 2 light/ hi/low 4 light by design like the originals. They are supposed to arrive this weekend so I will post the results when I install them

Quick question! Where did you hook up your halo lights to?
