There was only one tan interior in 1981 Corvettes, trim code 642 Camel. Just order visors in Camel for a 1981 Corvette from your favorite vendor and your should be good.

If the only thing wrong with the right side visor is the mirror is broken, all you need to buy is the mirror assembly, and not the visor. Unfortunately the visor mirror is only reproduced in 5 colors and 81 camel is not one of them. The closest color the mirror comes in is Doeskin, which is lighter than 81 Camel, but you can buy 81 Camel as a spray dye and dye the mirror before installing it. Below is a link to the mirror in doeskin, camel spray dye and if you do need it, the right side mirror in Camel.

A driver's side mirror that is constantly drooping or falling down can be fixed quite easily. The rod on the visor originally had a plastic bushing molded onto the end of the rod, where it went into the visor's support elbow. With age and use the plastic bushing becomes brittle, wears out and/or breaks, keeping it from holding the visor up. To repair it there is now a plastic two piece bushing available to replace the original molded on bushing. The new bushing is easy to install by removing the spring clip from the visor elbow, removing the visor's shaft from inside the elbow, removing the old worn out bushing, installing the new bushing and reinstalling the bushing and rod in the visor elbow. Below is a link to the repair bushing.

There is also a complete kit with a new support, bushing and mounting hardware, but you shouldn't need this kit unless your support is broken. If you look at the support you will see a groove in it about half way back, the clip you need to remove to remove the visor rod is in that groove.

Default visor fix

to fix my sloppy visor: using the links posted, I was able to figure out how it all went together, then carefully removed the visor rod out of the 90 degree bend. Instead of getting new/different plastic wedge pieces, i applied a thin strip of thin tape to the rod, put the white pieces back on and wedged the assembly back into the bend. The tape increased the white pieces diameter, and the visor now holds position.
