Default 1968 Non-AC Heater Controls

Hi,

Just need some clarification. I have a non-ac 68. With the heater left thumb wheel on off, I can turn on the blower motor with the fan switch. Is that normal? The blow motor will stay off with the fan switch all the way left and the wheel on off.

Also, how many positions does the fan switch have and what do they do? I believe it’s four from left to right: off. Low. Med. high.

Thank you

Thats normal. The fan switch controls the blower fan. The heater controls just control the door flaps. One is the flap inside the heater box, the other is the vent doors in the body
