I'm looking for advice regarding the variety of "factory service manuals" and "assembly manuals". I recently inherited a 1977. As an ASE tech I'm familiar with Chilton, Motor, Alldata, etc. but none have the details that factory manuals offer. Has anyone found a manual, paper or digital, that details HVAC, body fit, and good electrical and vacuum schematics?
All of the above manuals offer sufficient mechanical details, but what I would like is information on astroventilation, properly fitting T-Tops with new weatherstrips, etc. The car has had some questionable repairs and parts replaced with items that may not be correct for the car.
Any advice, recommendations will be appreciated!
Here are the manuals I have for my 77,
Passenger Car, Assembly and the Electrical Troubleshooting manuals would be my first choices for must haves...
You can find them on e-bay...
