I have a question about the heater selector switch that shunts the flow of hot air between floor, dash, and defrost. Mine is working, but there doesn't seem to be any detentes that let you know that the switch is in the position that you have selected. Rather, it simply glides smoothly through its range of motion. It seems to me that I tried this on someone else's C3 a while ago, and it did give some feedback by feeling like it kind of "clicked" into position. What are other C3 owners finding? Should I expect mine to feel like it is clicking into position?
Thanks.
The upper lever that selects AC, Max Ac, Vent, Heater, Defrost definitely has slight "detents" at each setting.
The lower lever that is the temp lever, has no detents whatsoever and is smooth. The lower lever pulls a cable that moves a door.
The upper lever operates both a vacuum and a electric switch. Both of these switches are prone to have their plastic dart that holds them together break.

That's what I thought. Now I just have to decide whether to replace the entire unit, or just the vacuum switch. Thanks.
Or before you spend any money on aftermarket switches that generally are garbage. Pull it out and look at it. There are a few threads on here about repairing and rebuilding these switches. I HIGHLY recommend you look into repairing the switches you have. Could cost you mere penny's and you end up with a better switch.
