rust treatment
I picked up some of this for the rear bumper of my 2015 F150. Been lazy is hosing out road salt and it really made a rusty mess in my trailer hitch, inside the bumper and spare tire well. Took it all apart, wire wheeled the snot out of it and then lathered it up with this stuff.
Yes, absolutely wear eye protection, gloves and long sleeves. It took almost two days to fully cure before I could paint it but it really, really made everything look great and it forms some sort of barrier. I painted it and hope to keep that rust at bay, I know it never sleeps. Looks great if you want to lay under there and admire it.
I cleaned off the bottom of the radiator support on my '69. It's the only spot on that car with any rust and it's minor but definitely there so I just want to abate it to whatever degree possible. I didn't even need to paint it after I used Ospho as it dried to a nice solid black. The car never sees rain or moisture anyway so I expect that'll help.
Going to hit the tub of a lawnmower with this next. Seems a useful product to have around the garage. No idea how it lasts yet but so far it seems like it wouldn't be easy to remove. We'll see.
