Ok, so I need to have both my original 68’ power brake booster and master cylinder restored/rebuilt. I’ve found company’s that do one or the other but not both. Any suggestions/experience with a vender out there that can handle both?
Thanks,
Chris
Big differences in these parts. Why not send one part to one and the other part to another. Granted your concerned with shipping costs. But something as important as brakes. I would be more concerned with the Best. Not the most convenient or the cheapest.
Simply the BEST!
Is Dewey's Booster still in business? The shop did nice restorations on PB boosters. Jerry
Jerry,
I looked into having Booster Dewey doing them but he only handles the booster. These are the original parts for my car that’s why I want them back. It’s not about the shipping costs it’s just I like one stop shopping and warranties. That way if something fails they can’t blame the other guy…lol.

I wouldn't spend extra time or risk on one-stop shopping for this. Split them up and go with the person who has the highest recommendation for each part. There isn't much chance of failure where one part is dependent upon the other -- even though they're bolted together. The booster either works or it doesn't, the same goes for the master.
