Default Over Radiator Air Intake

I have 1969 with a LS3 swap. I wanted to see if anyone had tried installing an over the radiator air take. Right now, my air intake bends 90 degrees to the passenger side. I have a stock radiator. I have no issue modifying the top of the radiator if needed to get the air intake through. Any ideas, vendor, or experiences are appreciated.

My 77 came factory with a over the radiator air intake. Perhaps look into the latter cars air intakes and adapt.

I've wanted to put an over the radiator intake on mine, but the dip/trough in the BB hood shape is right where the duct would like to be placed. Can't comment on if the small block hood is more accommodating.

Many folks have adapted the Vararam intake to C3 LS swaps.

Here's one example.

I'll add that later C3s (especially 7?-79) had stock hoods with a bit more room.

Since you said "any ideas" ...... you could try using cowl induction.... I fabricated a cow induction setup for my front intake RamJet 350 since I already had an L-88 hood. Let me find a picture....

Someone on here made up a cold air intake a while back

Again, as above, not sure if the BB hood would screw that up.

I've got a dual snorkel breather and keep looking at ways to sneak some non-engine box air into it but it's pretty far down the list
