This car says '68 but that's not a '68 dash or steering column ignition location. Looks like it's lifted for some good-ol' 4x4 action. Interesting to see what they'd provide as photos of the trim tag and VIN plate.
Look at this video from theCorvetteBen about a car purchased from the same seller. Then look at all of his completed listings and note how many of his listings indicate "sold" but were later relisted. Too many questions for me; I wouldn't trust this seller at all.
I saw that video a few weeks ago and recognized the seller as being the same. I looked at the sellers feedback to see if "theCorvetteBen" had left feedback yet, and nothing negative. Makes you wonder if he knew what he was getting.
I wouldn’t walk, but run away from this car. Whether you want to believe Ben’s video is a conspiracy or not the truth of the matter is this seller is throwing various junk C3 parts and spray bombed engines together and selling it for an insane markup. It’s incredibly slimy, and would never warrant my business.
I agree, negative feedback may help someone else to not end up in the same situation. Especially since he posted the video and not everyone may have seen it. People need to be informed about unscrupulous sellers on ebay and feedback is the only way to help protect others. Also, someone with that much social media presence could use it to warn people about bad sellers.
I know that the phrase "buyer beware" should be at the forefront of any online auction deal, but it seems to me, that anyone who sells something as vile, as the "1972 Corvette" in the above video, should spend some time in jail, on the basis of fraud.

That vendor is one of the slimiest used Corvette sellers out there. It just shows that eBay doesn't care because he's been doing this for years. Anybody that buys anything from this guy is going to be very sorry.
Anyone in the C3’s for sale/trade Facebook group will probably see their ads in there too. You’ll see them defend themselves and insult anyone that calls their cars a scam.
I took a flier on one of his cars and they are junk. He is a scam artist cobbles rust bucket junk together at his shop in Miami and then sells cheap. Look how rotted out the convertible top frame is. He has shill bidders, etc then pulls the listing right before it sells. He'll be arrested for vin swapping at some point
