Comp cam 268h vs stock
I’m going to ask a question that probably won’t have a simple answer.

I see regularly the 268h recommended for a cam on here.
how would that compare to the factory cam in a 350. Can you compare the 2?

I have heard of people using the same part number camshafts on both Small Block and Big Block (GM) engines and I understand they are very different in their behavior after the cam is installed. I had no idea that you could do this but Comp Cams said it was true. When I built my engine I used a Comp Cams kit which came with the lifters, springs and timing chain. The cam has worked well in my engine, I often wonder what it would be like in another application like the SB Chevy engines.
