Default Frame repair

Need some advice on how to tackle the job of replacing frame rails around #3 body mount.
All new replacement parts are at home and ready to go.
I would like to change the gusset the frame rail and #3 crossmember lower part.
Any recommendations on what to do first and if I need to strenghten the chasis before doing this.
The body is lifted about 10" and the chasis is on the wheels.
Picture is not of my car but just for orientation purposes of which parts I intend to change/repair.

I had to repair that exact spot on my car. if all the rot is on the bottom of the frame you can cut the bad parts out and weld in new pieces. don't need to lift the body for that.

I am duped. Look at all the rot.
What to do now? How to triangulate the frame so it doesn't move so that I can remove all this rot and weld in new parts?

Step back a little and take some pictures from a little farther back.
Off the top of my noggin I would well as many support structures around the area I am going to work on to avoid movement. Hell, I'd overbuild it so stuff doesn't move. You can cut them off later.

Before you Get started, make sure you weld some bracing to hold the frame. I used some scrap angle iron.

Whole day of cutting and welding to get one side done.
It would help if the parts were correct but they sent me 2 right side lower parts despite them beeing labeled left and right.
Happy with the results.

I would get some kind of rust proofing sprayed inside the frame to help stop the frame from rotting on the inside. Eastwood has products for that but not sure what you may have access to over where you are. Nice work on the frame.
