1977 Speedometer Replacement

1977 Speedometer Replacement

I need a new speedometer for this car. Is there any difference in the 72-74 speedometer and will it substitute for my 77? Other than the face plate, is there any mechanical difference?

If you replace the complete assembly I believe the years you posted should fit just fine. 77 was the first year to include the 1/10 so that would be missing.

Well, you learn something every day. Was not aware of the 1/10 digit on the speedometer. The 77 has kilometer scare too, but neither of those are important to us. Not building a concours show car. Just want a road worthy example that lets us know why are getting a speeding ticket!!!
