Hello everyone,
I'm somewhat of a new corvette owner. Ive owned it for a few years now but have only had it home, running for a bit. I'm looking for a community to help me restore my vette to like new condition so that I may enjoy it and drive it. I've got a 77 C3 with a fully rebuilt engine that started as an L82. I've worked it over completely new from the inside out mechanically. The rest of the car is not in bad shape but needs work. I'm looking forward to hopefully having some of you help me source information and parts as I restore other pieces of the vette.
Welcome you should post in the C3 sections and would be nice if you mentioned your locations, imagine administrator will move to proper place for help.
@Tman298 Welcome! Ask away as there are quite a few helpful folks here that will lend advice or attempt to at least point you in the right direction. By the way, the search function here is not as good as using Google to find things that are actually here. What I mean is, if you search “Steering wheel removal 1977 Corvette” here, you may not get what you want. But if you go onto Google and search “Steering wheel removal 1977 Corvette forum” (always put Corvette forum on the end), you can usually pull up multiple links to threads here addressing what you are searching for. Also, I have made kind of a list of excellent youtube videos addressing various things we deal with on these C3’s. A lot of people will say, “Look at the AIM”, but I find it to be lacking vs some of the videos out these days. I’ve only saved the one’s where there is excellent video, zoomed in to really show what you need to see, as well as being narrated by someone who really “get’s it”, and takes a teachers approach. You can certainly reach out to me by pm if there’s a topic you would like to know about and I’ll do my best to help.

welcome to the forum. there a an almost infinite supply of very knowledgeable members here who are very willing to share their expertise and experiences. don't hesitate to seek it out.
Welcome aboard. Forum Members are extremely knowledgeable and are more than happy to help you with any C3 issues. Do yourself a favor and give details on the model year, engine, transmission type, pictures, and other pertinent information. I am always amazed that guys think every C3 year has the same wiring system or emissions system, jut to mention a few things.
