Steering column question?
The steering column in my 72 Corvette is extremely long and without the tilt/tele option. It limits how much I can move the seat forward. This isn't a problem for me but I think my wife is going to have trouble reaching the pedals because of the steering column length. Is it possible to change the collet that the steering wheel bolts to,to a shorter one from another GM car? I was thinking maybe one from a Trans Am as they have the same type of bolt on steering wheel,or maybe a 69 Camaro?

Thank you for the information. My other thought was possibly switching out the steering wheel to a smaller diameter flat Trans Am steering wheel. Has anybody done this, did it help?
