Default CORBEAU FX1 medium seats

Has anyone installed the Corbeau racing seats FX1 mediums in their C3 Vette? Im looking to upgrade my seats. The Corbeau rep said the A4 and FX1 smalls will fit and the mediums may require some modifications to fit (hammering out the trans tower and taking out seat belts is what he stated would need to be done) Im curious if anyone has tried or could recommend some other seats. Im not a big fan of the A4's, I like the FX1 seats and the RRB but the RRB's will not fit according to the rep. I appreciate any and all help!! Trying to bring back a 74 Vette with a 383 stroke motor, was my uncles that I inherited after he passed. Has been sitting since 1993. Got it driving and back on the road, now trying to do some "comfort" upgrades. Thanks again!!

Here’s a thread I was recently reviewing (again). Hope you can get some ideas/answers from it:

The A4’s are mentioned pretty early in. The FX1 is mentioned in the 10th post. Looks like the FX1 Pro is the only one in that line that fits, BUT, that seat does not give you the ability to tilt it forward, enabling you to get to your cargo area or battery, etc. while the A4 does.
