I have a '69 with factory AC that has everything in place except the compressor. I recently purchased an A6 compressor, accumalator, and dryer to refurbish the AC. It appears at one point it was converted to R134, as it has the adapter on the low side, but not the high side.. I'm going to flush the system and change the dryer and accumalator. Do I need to also update the POA valve as seen below? what is the advantages of this? Anything else recommended to make this system work?
