There's a LT-1 on eBay but I have some questions. At first I noticed the tach had a 5600 rpm redline which I thought was incorrect but for a '72 with A/C that is correct. Then I looked at some of the docs the seller posted. It shows a VIN 1Z37L2S522803. According to a Corvette reference book I have, '72 Corvettes should have a K not a L. Maybe it's a typo? The seller stated "K" indicates base engine Corvettes and "L" is for LT-1's. The engine stamp are 2S52803 & V061CKY. CKY is a LT-1 engine per my reference book. I asked for a picture of the VIN on the dash but he hasn't posted it yet.

"L" is the 5th digit for the LT-1 in the VIN so seller is right
The cylinder heads are from an earlier year engine. Those heads would not be used in '72. It would be a performance upgrade modification for a '72.
the "3" in the transmission stamp looks different from the "3" on the cylinder case. Might just be the angle but not 100% sure.
"V" is for Flint and that would be right.
One thing V061CKY normal stamping for the Suffix would be V0601CKY
You're correct. Here's a shot of a Bloomington Awarded 1972 LT-1 that recently sold on Bringatrailer.. Its engine stamp shows a "0" in front of the digit 8.
The pad is a restamp. It is an LT1 car with the vin that is listed. The car has a 5600 rpm tach, M20 transmission and a 3:55 rear end. A few signs it was built as an LT1 ac car from the factory. Here is the vin tag, trim tag and door cert label for the car. Car sold a rough barn find 2 years ago for $18k: https://www.hagerty.com/marketplace/...RVW3mi4pfqer1Q
The engine and transmission VIN derivative were stamped on the line in St. Louis within about thirty seconds of each other… They should look identical. The “3” is completely different between the two. Add that to the incorrect stamping format for the assembly stamp that Paul (PJO) pointed out and it’s safe to say that this one is restamped.
