It's a wider panel than the stock C3. Getting a repro C3 panel to fit is enough of a battle. Go the extra mile with an all repro C3 panel plus Vintage Air. Trying to fit a wider panel with computer controlled everything just seems too daunting. Working on C3 mechanics/suspension is much easier than working on the interior.

The C5 cluster is an upgrade. Not sure about the C7 cluster.
Either way, you need a computer to interpret your data, and spit out CAN messages to the cluster. As said, this is how many digital dashes work, using OBDII messages from a stock or aftermarket ECU.
