1978 C6 Seat upgrade question
I am thinking about upgrading my seats to either a C5 or a C6. There is a good video of adding the C6 seats by replacing the mounting brackets (some modification), but I am interested.
My question is that I am looking for used C6 seats and have found a couple on marketplace, but if the driver side is a power seat, would I be able to convert that to manual recline?

Probably not. There are motors in the seat that control that function and I don't know how you would bypass that. Just a note, 2012-13 seats are different than the 05-11 ones. The frames are the same but the foam is different and really hard to come by. So if you are looking at 12-13 seats that need to be rebuilt, you would be better off getting the older ones. There is plenty of replacement foam for them...which means it will be cheaper.
