This arrived a couple weeks ago. 1979 L-48, Black on Black Leather. Probably THE most common configuration for that year, and for good reason in my opinion.
I am now going through the title and registration process. It is not my first corvette. The first was a project car I purchased before starting a family. I put in quite a bit of work on the project '68, but never got it on the road. This car came from a family member, so I am glad to keep it on the road and catch up on some maintenance items and get it back in shape.
And the first Corvette I owned. Not in the best condition.
Yes, I am quite smitten with the '68 vert's chrome bumpers, but it is quite a basket case. If it was fixed up and condition was not an issue, I would agree.
